I am currently installing SCCM at a client to assist me with the following:
1: Software Inventory
2: Hardware Inventory
for my domain. Now SCCM can do a whole lot more but at the moment I'm just keen on the two mentioned above. So here's what's needed:
1: WSUS 3.0 or later
2: SQL Server (should be set to run only Windows Authentication)
2.1: You can do this by starting up SQL Server Management Studio, Right Click on the server name and select Properties, Security, and select Windows Authentication. You will have to restart SQL Server service for the changes to take effect.
All checks complete...installation now running.
Installation complete without any hustles and machines are now reporting :).
Anyone needing help with this?
