Microsoft Office 2010
I just installed Office 2010 Pro Plus Beta and I must say that I'm already loving the interface. I feel more empowered with this version as it allows me to customize the look and feel whilst enjoying the colorful web-like interface. I am currently trying this out both on Windows XP and Windows 7 and so far all I'm sending Microsoft's way are smiles. Visio as well as Project are also awesome. Big ups Microsoft.

Microsoft SCCM 2007
I am currently installing SCCM at a client to assist me with the following:
1: Software Inventory
2: Hardware Inventory
for my domain. Now SCCM can do a whole lot more but at the moment I'm just keen on the two mentioned above. So here's what's needed:
1: WSUS 3.0 or later
2: SQL Server (should be set to run only Windows Authentication)
2.1: You can do this by starting up SQL Server Management Studio, Right Click on the server name and select Properties, Security, and select Windows Authentication. You will have to restart SQL Server service for the changes to take effect.
All checks complete...installation now running.
Installation complete without any hustles and machines are now reporting :).
Anyone needing help with this?

Google OS
Google has been slowly and quietly releasing new products to the public that it beckons the question, "Are they planning a ruthless takeover of the tech industry soon?" I believe that Google has the biggest testing base in the world. Always releasing Betas and never full versions...looks like the world is the testing platform and that one day all these tools will be bundled up in the Google OS and released as a full working OS. My predictions are that Google and Apple will sool be the pace setters leaving Linux in the back burner. Linux has been an awesome OS to work wit from an administrative point of view, but where does the money lie? Users need to be able to give the nod for an OS to really put the foot on the peddle of success in the market. Google OS seems to be set in that tone, and the developers seem to be testing all platforms on it making sure no one has an excuse not to take the leap of faith.
